Why Paul Carr?

Because you want an former journalist who has not only worked within the nation building environment of the Singapore media but also worked in the tough, hard-edged news rooms of the West.

How long will the media training take?

That depends on whether you want to work on Promoting to, Protecting from the media or a combination of both. Length of the coaching sessions also depends on the number of participants.

Where will the media training be conducted?

Most clients prefer to host the session in their company boardroom or training room. We can also conduct the training off site in a hotel meeting room if you'd prefer to get away from the office for the day.

Does it work?

The results speak for themselves. All of Paul's client's have managed difficult questions from journalists – some in 'LIVE' television interviews – with extra confidence and ease. Some of the biggest names in Finance and Medical Instruments and Research wouldn't use anyone else.

Will I notice it?

After just one session with Paul you'll be able to write & own your key corporate messages better than ever before. You'll also know how to handle difficult questions from journalists.

What results have you achieved with clients?

Turning fearful spokespeople into confident message givers. Getting clients to own and deliver their message in an interesting way. Inviting them to discover formulas that allow them to handle difficult questions from journalists. Sometimes it takes some convincing to get clients to see the value in engaging with the media.

How does this work? What actually happens?

First we WRITE, then we PRESENT and SPEAK. Clients are invited to write or re-write their messages into easily remembered sentences. Together we view case studies of people handling the media well & not so well. We’ll explore the tricks of the trade before rehearsing real-life media interviews that we’ll film. Finally we’ll play the video to the client and critique it together.
